tmas is one of Scotland’s leading IT resellers, and, among the country’s creative and printing industries, the name is practically a byword for all things IT-related. The company takes pride in achieving consistently high levels of service and working not just as solutions providers but in a variety of different IT-related services. The team acts as long-standing and trusted partners to many of its clients.

So we were thrilled to be asked to look at the company’s promotional activity and to devise a creative strategy for their direct marketing, in particular for e-communications.

Working closely with the tmas directors, we identified the need for three different types of communications: case studies, targeted promotions and general advice. The combination of all three in e-newsletter form was a great way of summarising tmas’ strengths, whether in terms of a ‘job well done’, an understanding of the specific needs and challenges to businesses in the creative industries, or a finger on the pulse in terms of new products or offers.

As well as a newsletter template we also provided an interchangeable kit of parts for them to develop and manage their own targeted mailers, either by email or print. The entire suite is distributed under a new umbrella brand which we developed, creative-IT, in order to raise awareness of its services and positions the company as potential IT partners across the entire client base.
